GVINAGE was officially founded, building on its previous international experience. It was founded by Naomi and her friend Richard Stein, a French-Israeli couple with a passion for cheese. Driven by a Zionist vision, they wanted to support local cheesemakers and enrich the knowledge of the general public and professionals through workshops and events. After many years of experience implementing cheese training and education programs around the world, Naomi began to dream of her new project in Israel. When Yedidya entered the picture, the dream began to take shape. In the summer of 2021, they both immigrated to Israel to establish a new life project in the Upper Galilee region of northern Israel. They quickly developed new cheese recipes with local artisan cheesemakers, helped them with everything they needed, whether it was good advice or a helping hand in difficult times, and then in 2023 opened the GVINAGE cheese-aging house with the aim of bringing French cheese-aging technology a little closer to Israeli cheeses.
